Researcher & Lecturer

Kiel University, Germany · Research Group on International Political Sociology

In my role as a Researcher in International Political Sociology, I develop theoretical perspectives on social instability, crisis and ontological insecurity. A key outcome of this work is a multidimensional crisis framework that captures how crises dynamically unsettle social structures (see Research Projects). In addition to my research, I teach Political Science and Sociology, with a focus on Political Sociology, Political Theory and International Relations. I have experience in independent curriculum design, teaching and assessment, and I teach in English, German and bilingually.

Ph.D. Political Science

Kiel University, Germany · Research Group on International Political Sociology

In my dissertation, supervised by Prof. Dr. Dirk Nabers, I develop a process-sociological perspective on social order and the production of sense in a posthuman world. The project advances processual sociology by drawing primarily on the philosophies of Gilles Deleuze and Henri Bergson, while integrating insights from both sociology and philosophy.
